NOW HIRING: Humanity Relations Manager in North Carolina.

We are currently looking for a Human Relations Manager (HRM). We are looking for someone who is confident in decision making, can act quickly, and has excellent communication skills. The major responsibility for this position is recruitment of all open positions which allows the company to meet and exceed all objectives and goals for each year.

Other responsibilities include developing policies and directing and coordinating human resource activities such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting while using all types of social media, job boards, indeed, etc.
  • Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs.
  • Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
  • Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
  • Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relation issues.
  • Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  • Investigates workers compensation accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
  • Coordinates safety committee meetings and assists with other safety related activities/requirements.
  • Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary employees, search firms, or relocation services.
  • Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.

Qualifications:

  • Five (5) + years of work experience with Human Resources or related (e.g., talent acquisition, learning, talent management, performance management) OR Three (3) + years of work experience with Human Resources or related with bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Experienced and positive track record for recruiting new employees. This includes knowledge of how to use social media for recruiting purposes along with other job search engines.
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office along with effective communication and project management skills.
  • Knowledgeable of EEO law and general HR concepts
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Able to multitask and function in an independent work environment.
  • Creativity
  • Detail-oriented
  • Conflict Resolution Training and experience
  • Payroll experience

Preferred Qualifications:

· 10 + years HR management in a place or organization with larger than 200 employees.

· French, Creole, Spanish, and English Speaking
